At this time there are no limiting guidelines in place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-gray-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Packet Pick-up <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Early packet pick-up &amp; walk-in registration: Noon to 2:30 p.m. August 15, 2025 at Cheyenne Mountain State Park-Visitor Center. <strong>Race Day<\/strong> packet pick-up and late registration starts at 5:30 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-gray-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Parking\/Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parking for runners will start at 5:30 AM. &nbsp;Please arrive early to provide enough time to be race ready at 7:00 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parking at Cheyenne Mountain State Park is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions to CMSP:<\/strong> &nbsp;From I-25, take exit 135 and drive West on S Academy past Pikes Peak Community College. &nbsp;Turn left (South) and merge on to Hwy 115. &nbsp;Turn right at the first stop light onto JL Ranch Heights\/AKA State Park Road. &nbsp;(Across from Ft Carson Gate #1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/JL+Ranch+Heights+Rd,+Colorado+Springs,+CO\/@38.7178998,-104.8293611,12.63z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x871342e6d75c7d65:0x7000ecb83e2cf03!8m2!3d38.736348!4d-104.817914\">Directions by Google<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-gray-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Rules:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The 25k will be limited to 400 registrations<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For 25K runners:<\/strong> A cutoff time of 8:45 AM for to reach the Dixon Saddle will be\u00a0implemented. \u00a0All runners must cross the chip timing station. The chip timing aide station \u00a0will close at 11:00 AM. <strong>\u00a0The Start\/Finish line timing station will close at 12:00 PM.<\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assigned race bibs are not&nbsp;transferable and must be worn in plain view on the front of your body. However, we will allow transfer of your registration.  Please contact Friendsofcmsp@gmail to assist with this change.  <strong>No changes after August 13, 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No strollers, bikes, roller blades, skateboards, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No animals are permitted on the course. &nbsp;Animals are allowed in the parking lot, as long as they are on a leash.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poles and walking sticks <strong>not<\/strong> allowed. This is a safety precaution. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Due to the narrow trail, please step out of the way of competitors if you have to stop. Down hill runners, have the right of way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not walk or run abreast in pairs or groups when it will impede others, especially on the Dixon Trail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All trash must be disposed of at water stations\/start-finish line.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open ear devices will be allowed, however ear plugs will not be allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No refunds will be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may transfer <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-gray-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Grounds for Disqualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using  a race bib assigned to another runner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Un-sportsman like conduct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Verbally abusing any other participant or volunteer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Failing to comply with directives of Race Officials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Cutting the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Throwing trash in the park.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COVID-19 Updates We will follow El Paso County and Colorado Parks and Wildlife protocol at race time.
